Wednesday, March 6 - AM Advanced

For our opening conversation, we shared some of our major life accomplishments. For some students, coming to the United States and beginning a new life here was a major life accomplishment. And I agree!

We then reviewed vocab words used in an article on immigration. After reviewing the words, we read aloud the article itself, which revealed some results from a major survey of immigrants in 2023. 

After reading the article, students had a chance to respond, identifying with some of the experiences of immigrants nationwide. 

Also, thanks to Burcin, who shared with the class some bold, invigorating Turkish coffee.
