Tuesday, April 2 - AM Fluency

Today’s class focused on Sigmund Freud. Opening discussion: What are the sources of mental problems–genetics? Upbringing? Childhood trauma? Failures and bad decisions?

We then began reading an article about Freud. We learned about his early life and some of his theories, focusing on his five stages of development. We enjoyed a wide-ranging discussion on so many topics: addiction; alcohol-induced blackouts; dreams; psychic energy; and, yes, sex.
