I announced today that I was leaving the ACE Institute. Sadly, today was my last day…April Fool’s!

Opening conversation: what is your favorite color and why? Answers: lots of blues, a couple reds and greens, one white, and one orange. 

We read an article about St. Patrick and his day. Along the way, we had some fascinating sidetracked conversations. For instance, analyzing the word “busted” led to us talking about being arrested; being arrested led us to talking about being arrested for drug possession; being arrested for drug possession led to us talking about marijuana: where it is legal and illegal; why it’s legal or illegal; whether or not it is addictive; and even some of our own experiences with marijuana. 

We practiced our learning objective, scanning the article on St. Patrick to find specific information.

Then we listened to two Irish songs by two different Irish bands: the Pogues and U2.
