Springboarding off the info about Thanksgiving from last class, we began with this opening discussion question: What foods did you try for the first time in the U.S.? Some answers: biscuits and gravy; Mexican food; and French toast.

After summarizing what we read yesterday in chapter 2, we moved on to chapter 3, the American Revolution. After reading the chapter, we did the activity on p. 61.

We concluded class by discussing plans for spring break. One person is going to party on South Beach, but most plan on using the break to sleep.
