Thursday, March 7 - PM Advanced/Fluency

Inspired by Monica’s curiosity about life after death, we began class reading a short article about the subject; specifically, the article provided arguments both for and against life after death. Our conversation became pretty morbid. Somehow, we began talking about sleep paralysis and whether or not we would want foreknowledge of our death: if you could, would you want to know when you will die?

We then moved on to an article about Prince and Michael Jackson. But first we listened to “Raspberry Beret” and “Another Part of Me,” analyzing the lyrics. We then began reading the article. Students will take notes on it next week.
