Thursday, January 18 - AM Intermediate

We started with dictation of six sentences using the simple present tense in 3rd person.  Then the students worked on pages 62-63 (simple present question and answer with I, you, we, they) in the activity workbook, using the textbook pages 80-81 as a reference.  Students practiced the conversations multiple times with partners.  Next, they completed pages 63-64 in the activity book (simple present question and answer with he, she, it). After practicing those conversations with multiple partners, I gave a brief lesson on subject pronouns and possessive adjectives.  We then practiced by asking each other the following as an example:  What is his name?  His name is Annibal.  What language does he speak?  He speaks Portuguese.
