Tuesday, January 23 - AM Intermediate

Today we continued working on simple present and writing sentences with two subjects.  We completed page 48 in WP1.  Students had to interview each other about their hobbies.  Then, they told their partner what hobbies each person liked.  Example:  “Carmen likes reading.”  Students then wrote four sentences using the information from their interviews, two with one subject and two with two subjects.

SxS 1, page 83.  We read the story aloud and then students read to each other.  They asked and verbally answered the questions on page 84, then wrote the answers down in complete sentences.  Using the story on page 83, students started to tell the story of Mrs. Kowalski using the pictures as a guide on page 84.
