Wednesday, September 25 - AM Fluency

Welcome to term 5! We began with introductions–of the teacher, students, and class.

I decided to add a new element into my fluency class this term: informal student presentations. Throughout the term, students will give short informal presentations on any topic of their choice. Today, students signed up for presentation dates. I look forward to the following presentation topics: “Vegan Life”; “How to Prepare Food on a Budget”; “Introduction to the German Language”; “The Science of Movement in Dance”’ and “Autism Awareness.”

We then read an article about Hispanic Heritage Month and listened to two songs by famous musicians who happen to be Hispanic: Linda Ronstadt and Carlos Santana.
