Wednesday, February 28 - AM Fluency
We began a unit on the Italian Renaissance today. We began with group discussions: What do you know about the Italian Renaissance? What was it? When was it? How did it start?
We then read a National Geographic article on the Renaissance and had wide-ranging conversations about feudalism, the Middle Ages, artistic patronage, etc. We ended class by practicing our learning objective: students scanned the article to find important information.
