Tuesday, March 26 - AM Advanced

In preparation for the chapter on the American Civil War, we each shared some facts we could find online about this important moment in history. 

We then read chapter 4 on p.9. Since the chapter mentioned the song “Marching Through Georgia,” we listened to it, analyzing the lyrics. We concluded the chapter by doing the companion exercise on p. 61. 

We also practiced our SLO: sharing opinions. Since the chapter mentioned the book Little Women, I asked each student to share their opinions on the last books they read.

For some reason, we spent a lot of time discussing interesting drinks from our native countries. Maria and Crystal shared some interesting popular drinks from their native countries, Argentina and Peru, respectively.
