The SS considered the picture on pages 12-13 and speculated what the story might be about.

Then we watched the video (1.1) twice and the SS answered the questions on page 13.

They completed the Details exercise on p. 14 and discussed their answers. There were some disagreements, so that generated discussion.

Finally we did the Main Ideas exercise on p. 14. Again, we had differences of opinion, so that generated more discussion. Some SS struggled with this exercise.

All in all, a good class.
