We reviewed the story “Bad Luck, Good Luck” on page19 to refresh their memories, then we did the pronunciation exercise on page 20 and discussed their vocabulary questions.

We completed the comprehension and remembering details - the SS did well on these. The discussion exercise was interesting as the 3 Brazilian SS checked all the boxes for crimes that are committed in their home towns. 

We finished the class by writing true/false statements about the reading.
