1.  P. 145 - Writing Titles for Paragraphs  Ex. 9 and Ex. 10

2. Students go to board and write the titles they created for the 4 paragraphs in Ex. 6 and 7.  (Evaluate their titles.)

3. P. 147 - Match supporting sentence with the appropriate topic sentence - Ex. 12

4. Pp. 148-149 - Finding irrelevant sentences/  Ex. 13 and Ex. 14

5. Return their graded paragraphs from last week.  Discuss.

6. Write a paragraph about a person you respect - family member, friend, famous person.  Be sure to include an appropriate title.  As students write, evaluate their use of appropriate format for both title and paragraph.
