Opening activity: Interview a partner and ask them where in the world they would like to visit. What would they do there? Some students said Japan, one said Dubai, and another said a sailing trip around the Mediterranean.
We then completed the activities on pp. 63 and 64 of our text: reading-comprehension questions.
We then turned to our learning objective: using comparative and superlative adjectives. We learned the basic rules and then did some practice.
Finally, we read half of Chapter 15, about beautiful places to visit in the United States. We will finish the chapter next class.
