SxS 1, page 82 was reviewed as partners.  First they read as is, then asked each other “Where does Linda live?” Students practiced the simple present. We reviewed the rules for 3rd person singular - ADD “s”.

We continued to practice by introducing each person in your group to the other group.  Example:  “Sirichai lives in Port Saint Lucie.”

Switching to WP1, we learned the parts of a basic sentence.  The subject (a noun or pronoun) and a verb (action or linking).  Students identified the parts of simple sentences I wrote on the board.  Then we returned to SxS and began reading page 83.  In pairs, students identified the subjects and verbs.
