We covered pages 1 through 4.
After a quick warm up I split the SS into pairs and 3s to discuss longevity, and “how old is old?” It took the SS a few minutes to get into the task, but once they started, their S-S conversation was amazing.
In the same groups we discussed the Pre-Reading exercise, and most of the SS in different groups had similar ideas.
We then did the reading with each S reading a paragraph, then summarizing what they just read. We have two more paragraphs to complete next class.
