We considered the picture on pages 2 and 3, SS described what they saw in the picture. Then we discussed whether rap music is a form of story-telling. Most SS agreed it is.

Then we spent quite some time discussing the vocabulary (p.4) before completing the cloze exercise. Then I had the SS write their own sentences using the given vocabulary (to check their comprehension) and read one to the class.
